I really appreciate that Mac has done that, especially their lipsticks because their lipstick cost 1650 and no one can finish the entire lipstick before the expiry date. Hence these minis plays a major role in saving few bucks as well as we can finish it up before the lipstick expires.
Today I am reviewing a lipstick from their satin lipstick collection named as Mac Satin Lipstick in the shade Captive. I only purchased this shade because I own quite a few shades from their minis in bigger version and the rest I didn't felt like purchasing as I do not find the shades that unique and appealing like diva chilli mehr etc.

In Detail MAC Captive Satin Lipstick Review, Swatches and My Experience
The mac mini satin lipstick comes in a transparent and black colored plastic with some information printed at the back of the plastic. Autodesk vred presenter 2018 mac. Also I did not find the outer packaging that attractive. I would have preferred more of that carton rather than this if I am paying 1050 for minis.
The actual lipstick comes in the regular bullet shaped black packaging with frosted silver twister inside. Look-wise exactly like their regular lipsticks. The name MAC is beautifully printed on the cap in silver and the name of the lipstick color is glued on its bottom.
The silver twister too has MAC printed in Black. Overall the packaging is same as their bigger version nothing changed except outer packaging and size.
Mac describes this shade as a pinkish plum shade which is so true. I am in love with this shade. It is so good especially on my dusky skin. If you love wearing berry shades but find it to loud for day time than this shade is for you, it can be easily worn daily. For very fair skinned girls it can be little deep in tone.
The texture of this satin lipstick is creamy and at the same time matte. In simple words, its not that creamy nor super matte. It glides on my lips so effortlessly without applying any amount of pressure. It also does not tugs or pull my lips while applying.
Mac Satin Captive is a good pigmented lipstick which covers up the lips quite well in a single swipe. To add more intensity apply two three swipes of the lipstick and then lightly dab your lips with a tissue. Young fogey handbook pdf.
The lipstick lasts on lips quite well as when it wears off you get left with a pretty stained lip colour. Great staying power, easily lasts up to 5-6 hours without meal or light meal. But I think it might come off easily if you are having oily food as it is not completely matte in texture.
